Ann Arbor has a coffee trailer that runs on Michigan pride. Two Wolverine grads, Brooke and Mallory, started Go Brew Coffee Co to pour their love of this town into a cup. Brooke is a Navy veteran who finished in 2012. Mallory graduated in 2023 and has spent years behind an espresso bar.
The menu reads like a Michigan inside joke. You can order a Big House Batter, a cake batter latte with a name to match. There is Maple Madness, a salted maple latte. Matcha drinkers reach for The Leaders and Berry Best, a strawberry matcha, or The Little Brother. Little kids get a Little Brown Mug, just steamed milk and a flavor they pick.
The fun names sit on top of real care. Brooke and Mallory make their syrups, cold foam, and cold brew in-house. Their beans come from Uncommon Coffee Roasters in Saugatuck, so your cup starts over on the Lake Michigan side of the state.
Here is the catch. Go, Brew has no storefront, so you chase the trailer instead of walking up to a counter. Check their Instagram, @gobrewcoffeeco, for the week's pop-up spots before you head out. Miss them, and you still have options. They sell bottled lattes and deliver to Ann Arbor addresses, so you can keep a Maple Madness in the fridge for a rough Monday.
Summer is the best time to track them down, with the students gone and locals back out around town. Follow along this week and go find your first cup.
