🍻 Beer Garden Lives On: Despite Downtown Home & Garden announcing their closing at the end of the year, their sister business, Bill’s Beer Garden, will remain open. While the two businesses share a landlord, they operate as independent businesses. Bill’s will continue to be open from mid-March to mid-November.

⛸️ Reimagining Liberty Plaza: The Library Green Conservancy, the group behind the 2018 proposal to convert the city-owned Library Lane parking lot into a park (which was repealed earlier this month with the passing of Proposals A and B), have their sights set on a new “Center of the City” park - Liberty Plaza. Last week, the group shared the blueprints of a reimagined Liberty Plaza with a real lawn and a seasonal ice rink. City Administrator Milton Dohoney said, “On its face, the group presents an interesting idea. The administration would need time to review the assumptions they’ve made, as a step in determining how feasible the idea would be to implement.”
