I’ll cut to the chase: The Michigander is coming back better than ever. I won’t be at the helm, instead a new team of Ann Arborites will steer the ship.

I met Ryan and James shortly after announcing my plans to shut down the newsletter in December. From our first conversation, it was obvious they were the right team to keep the Michigander alive. They share my love for the city, my commitment to unbiased coverage, and my disdain for paywalls. What more could you want?

So buckle up, townies - The Michigander officially returns this Monday (2/16). You’re in great hands.
