Located in the Kerrytown courtyard, Little Kim offers build-your-own bowls, kimbap, and fried-tofu sandwiches, plus a small mini-mart with sauces and grab-and-go items. Little Kim is open Tuesday - Sunday from 11:30 am to 5 pm.

🌙 The Crescent: Last week, Ann Arbor’s Planning Commission approved a rezoning for The Crescent, a five-story, 262-unit apartment project at 2525 Ann Arbor-Saline Road. The Crescent will be built on the 4-acre lot next to the Cranbrook Shopping Center (behind Whole Foods) which has sat vacant since 1947. Plans call for a variety of room sizes (ranging from studios to three-bedrooms), a pool and amenity deck, and a lower-level garage.

📚️ Proposals A and B: With 58% approval, local voters approved both downtown library proposals last week. The city says AADL and staff will now draft a formal agreement and move into the design and public engagement stage for the mixed-use project. Here’s a map to see how each precinct in town voted.

🐕️ MSU Maple: As a rule of thumb, this newsletter is generally anti-MSU (not a lot, but a tasteful amount). But we make exceptions.

Meet Maple, a former human-remains detection dog who’s swapped crime scenes for honeybees at MSU’s Pollinator Performance Center. Wearing a tiny beekeeping suit, she sniffs out American foulbrood (a deadly hive bacteria) and sits by infected hives to signal to researchers.

Maple, hit the transfer portal, we’d love to have your talents in Ann Arbor.
