🏈 Michigan Drops a Second Straight in Ugly Fashion
Michigan fell 20-14 at Minnesota on Saturday, a second straight loss that dropped the Wolverines to 3-2 (0-2 Big Ten) and left the Little Brown Jug in Minneapolis for the first time since 2014. The offense cratered, just 180 total yards and three straight second-half turnovers. A long bye week now waits before the Wolverines try to right the ship.

⚒️ The Adeline Broke Ground Next to the Library

A 20-story building with 330 affordable apartments broke ground Monday on the empty lot by the Blake Transit Center, across from the downtown library. One and two bedrooms for households earning up to 80% of area median income, about a third reserved for families under roughly $38,000. ⚡ The Public Power Fight Is Heating Up Before November
Proposal E is heating up ahead of the Nov. 3 vote. The measure would create a city-run electric utility, which supporters see as a first step toward breaking DTE's monopoly and reaching 100% renewable energy. City Council, led by Mayor Chris Taylor, is urging a no vote and eyeing a legal challenge over open-ended financial risk (a DTE buyout could run $281 million to over $1 billion). mLive

Ravens Club, 207 S Main St

✎️ The Ravens Club Is Closing After 15 Years

The bar that opened in 2011 is calling it. A steep rent hike a year and a half ago changed the math, and even full rooms stopped covering it. "Rather than keep reshaping it into something it never was, it's time to let it go." Something new is already taking shape in the space, which the owners promise will be "quirky, fun, and a little unpredictable." The Ravens Club

AAPD found fake QR stickers on ePark machines downtown, mostly near the Maynard structure, routing people to a site built to steal payment info. Pay through the official ePark app, site, or an on-street kiosk instead, and if you spot a sticker, don't scan it, call AAPD at 734-794-6920.
