🎵 The Big House Goes Country (Again): Last week, U of M announced that country star Morgan Wallen will headline two nights at Michigan Stadium next summer. The shows will be the second and third-ever concerts at the Big House (following Zac Bryan’s concert this summer). Wallen will be joined by musicians Thomas Rhett, Hardy, Hudson Westbrook, and Blake Whiten. Pre-sale registration is now available at StillTheProblem.com before public tickets are available this Friday.

☕️ Starbucks To Close: According to signs on the door, the Starbucks on South U (1214 S. University Ave) closed for good on Friday. The coffee shop’s closing is part of a larger building project that will see the Galleria Mall building demo’d to make way for an 18-story apartment high-rise.

🖥️ BrightWorks Coworking: This February, BrightWorks coworking will open their third Ann Arbor location at 255 E. Liberty Street. The downtown location will join BrightWorks other two locations at 3027 Miller Road and 777 E. Eisenhower Parkway. The new location will offer three membership tiers and provide lounge spaces, meeting rooms, shared desks, and other amenities for tenants.

🔋 WashtenawCountyGPT: OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT, announced plans for a massive new data center in Saline, calling it one of the most advanced AI infrastructure sites in the country. The 2.2-million-square-foot facility is expected to open in 2026 and bring over 2,500 construction and 450 permanent jobs to Washtenaw County. Locals are far from thrilled about the project.

🥪 50,000 Meals: Ann Arbor’s three Rotary Clubs will team up this Saturday at Pioneer High School to pack 50,000 meals in just three hours. The annual Send Hunger Packing event, now in its fourth year, supports local pantries and global food relief through the Michigan-based Kids Coalition Against Hunger. To support, locals can volunteer or donate to the cause.
